About Tin Can Smartphone

Tin Can Smartphone (also known as SMS-Api-Gateway) gives you a REST API for sending and receiving SMS through your own Android smartphone.

Install the companion app on your phone, connect it to your account, then send and receive messages via the web UI or the HTTP API — using the SIM in your device as the gateway.
